Managing Users and Roles in Calipso

A Calipso user only has access rights to the information that relates to him. The dashboard views, spaces and workflow actions available to a user are strictly defined by system or space roles. A user may also belong to an organization within the system.

Bellow you can see how an administrator can easily perform common tasks related to users, organization and role management.

    Create an Organization: Go to Options / Manage Organizations and create organization(s) for your users, including co-workers, clients and partners.

    Create Users:  » Click to zoom ->

    Create Users: Go to Options / Manage Users and add users, connecting them to an organization.

    Manage User Roles for a Space:  » Click to zoom ->

    Manage User Roles for a Space: Go to Options > Manage Spaces to add a user to a specific space by assigning roles defined for that space.

    Add User Roles to Space: By following the users link for a given space, you can assign any space role for a user, as well as administrative rights for a given space.

    Space Role Rights: While editing the workflow for a Space, you can add user roles and workflow states. You can then define, for each role and state combination, the access rights for a given information field and permitted next state. Finally, you can manage access rights on KPIs and other commonly used information.
